There was a time when I actually owned a cup like this. I convinced myself through word and deed, I couldn’t abide Mondays.
What tickles me now was how out of the same mouth I would also complain about how little time I had to get everything accomplished during the week.
How many hours are there in a day?
So, since I didn’t like Mondays, it stands to reason that I most likely squandered the hours I had every week on a Monday.
It wasn’t until I binned that darn cup, and started to properly recognize and respect the gift of another 24 hours that I then began to accomplish anything.
Monday is at the beginning of all of our weeks. If we despise it, what else are we looking our noses down on?
Just a thought.
I did a little research to see how many Mondays are left in 2016. From today, April 4th, there are exactly 39.
If we choose to squander them, we are also subtracting 936 hours from our goals for the year.
Make sense to you why we’d allow ourselves to hate something useful???
Maybe it’s my age, but I couldn’t help adding this song Monday Monday to Truth Moment Monday.
Listen to the song. What do you think they were actually singing about???
