Pick up the broken pieces

  1. Ahh…this is one of the first times I have seen a reblog on WordPress.

The message is apt. This is something I really need to internalize. I hold onto things and even beat myself up for even the tiniest mistakes.

Now come to think of it, I might take the saying “Don’t cry over spilled milk” and use it for one of my featured posts. Thanks to you and Ngobesing Romanus from the Success Inspirer blog.

    1. Yes! I reblog on occasion, especially when I read a post that really resonates with me. My beloved Mother used to tell me often…”Don’t Cry Over Spilled Milk.” It has the type of meaning I have carried with me throughout my life. It’s been very instrumental to me, especially since we can so easily stumble and fall over the smallest obstacles.

The original post is wonderful, and I hope my humble additions have complimented the original author as well.

If you feel comfortable taking this idea further, please do, and thank you!

  2. I totally agree – looking back over the times in my life where I’ve ‘spilled milk’, I recognise that these have been the times of great learning which have helped me to really value what’s important in my life. By using each new day to create new ‘happy memories’ for myself and my family means we are sharing lots of lovely times together!
