We can’t force a square peg into a round hole just because we’d prefer it fit where we want it to!
Let’s revise that.
We can force it in, if we don’t pay no never-mind to the resulting damage to the peg & the hole.
Do you think if life came with instructions – and we actually took the time to read them – that said instructions would stop us from ever attempting to force ourselves or our way into ill-fitting situations?
It’s not an especially hard question, but maybe, just maybe asking it would stop us from doing it – at least doing it – more than once!
I don’t know about you, but I’ve tried it. OK, I’ve tried it more than once.
The misplaced energy it took to forcefully whack it futilely into place was immense.
What did I learn?
I learned that I could go ahead and force it in, as long as I was OK feeling like a sweaty, stressed out discombobulated mess in the process.
