Some thinkith Shakespeare was the first to explicitly refer to the ‘Green-eyed Monster’ as jealousy.
This monstrous emotion spooked him so much that in 1604 he used it in his written work of Othello.
He may have even been the first on record to coin this creepy phrase.
What is jealousy?
Could It Be This?
Could This Be True?
Can This Fiend Sully Romance Too?
Could This Terror Be Happening To Me?
Could This Terror Be Happening To You?
Here’s a Suggestion…
Don’t feed the monster or give the monster a home.
Because jealousy is a trick of the mind, and when this monster comes looking for a place to live, it ain’t no treat!
