Something Martin Luther King preached in the pulpit of Detroit’s Second Baptist Church back in 1954 struck me as still equally relevant today in 2020!
When I read it, I thought to myself: “I’ve got to share this.”
He declared: “It’s wrong to hate. It’s always been wrong, and it always will be wrong.”
He continued: “It’s wrong in America, it’s wrong in Germany, it’s wrong in Russia, it’s wrong in China. It was wrong in 2000 B.C., and it’s wrong in 1954 A.D.”
He felt strongly enough about hate that he repeated this line again: “It’s always been wrong, and it always will be wrong!”
