My name is Jennifer Denise Pillion. I’m a young sixty-two.

I was born out of wedlock to Lottie Tinsley, at Meadowbrook Hospital in East Meadow, NY.

I was raised in the wonderful foster home of James and Helen Ruth Barbour of Freeport, New York.

I now live in the state of Indiana when I was adopted as an adult of 22.

On that date, my name was changed from Denise Tinsley, to Jennifer Denise Pillion. The judge said I could, and so I did.

I suspect if you’ve made it this far, you may be stunned by the amount of information I’m willing to share.

There’s a reason for that.

This blog is titled: “Sparky Jen” for a reason.

The tagline: “No Beating Around the Bush Allowed,” has to begin with me.

I am a lover of life. I practice what I preach. I believe in miracles. I live a life of abundance and joy.

Yes! I am Sparky with good reason. Someone loved me enough to light a spark underneath me years ago.

I’m here today, this afternoon, evening, whenever, however, right now…

    1. I’ve never been one to have secrets. That way I don’t have to remember what I told whom.

      I don’t mind sharing. Blogging makes it not only an almost must (our readers connect better with humans, then robots), but it just feels so safe to me.

  16. Hello Jennifer, nice to meet you. Your word says how much sparky you are. Well, I also believe in same concept that love belongs to us. Only a loving spark is needed to wake it up from sleeping state. I also experienced that. Have a great day.

  18. So extremely pleased I found your blog! I was reading this page out loud to my husband (a hospice nurse and former US Army Nurse) who said “wow! Tell her I said thank you first for her service and second, for the wonderful job I know she is doing now”…so there you have it…two likes for the price of one!

      They say: “Age is only a number.” Good thing too, ’cause I still have lots of energy left. We humans are living longer. Hopefully those of us that do will continue to find engaging ways to stimulate our minds, bodies, and spirits. And then, pass it on.

      Think of all we can accomplish in our lives putting our years, younger and older to positive use. Whoopee!!!

    1. Hi hi! I really do enjoy life. This feeling came with a few ups and downs yes, which I decided to turn into funny stories. My mantra has evolved into a mindset I can roll with: “Always Tested, Never Beaten!”
